Evangelism Explosion
Our passion as a church is to create a community of believers that is bold in sharing their faith. This is the heart of Evangelism Explosion. Evangelism Explosion is a ministry that trains lay people to share their faith, but it doesn't just do this in the classroom. Before Jesus sent out his disciples, He modeled ministry for them. Evangelism Explosion uses this same model. Before participants are asked to share their faith, they have the opportunity to see the gospel shared first hand. Church With No Walls
On the first and third Sunday of every month at Pioneer Park in downtown Salt Lake City from 1-3pm we participate in serving through preparing and offering a hot meal to anywhere from 100-300 homeless people. Whatever is brought down to the park by believers and non believers alike are given out. This includes food and clothing and Bibles and other literature. Just show up with a heart to serve and be blown away how God makes this ministry effective.
